Arrangements can be made for your travel needs to and from the Rome airport.  A private (licensed) driver will be happy to meet you just outside customs. The two (2) hour ride from the Rome airport to Paciano is relaxing.  It is a good time to catch a few winks before you begin your adventure. Once you arrive in Paciano, you can settle into your apartment, enjoy a snack at the local bar or your driver can also take you to pick up your rental car in Chiusi.  This will save you the wear and tear on your nerves attempting to negotiate Rome traffic.

The rental agency can provide you with a car with GPS.  Also be sure to let them know if you want an automatic transmission as most cars are manual transmission.  It is very easy to drive in the countryside and all of the villages you will visit are fun to navigate.  In Chiusi, there are offices for Hertz, Avis and Europcar.
